文摘:Double-reheat units emerged with the introduction of supercritical steam conditions in the 1950s and most were built around the 1960s and 1970s, in Germany, the USA and Japan. With the start up of the Nordjylland 3 double-reheat plant in Denmark in 1998 a new record for coal plant efficiency was achieved (47.2%, net electrical, LHV). Now, 17 years on, a new wave of double-reheat units is coming on line in China capable of establishing new benchmarks for coal plant efficiency, 47.94% and beyond.
