文摘:The 2.6Mt/y jumbo minimill at Industrial Union Donbass (1UD) Armavir, Russia, presently under construction by Danieli on a turnkey basis, will be one of the largest greenfield integrated minimills for long products ever built. In May 2007, Industrial Union Donbass (IUD) contracted Danieli to supply a complete minimill for the production of 2.6Mt/y of quality long products to be installed in the city of Armavir in Russia. This was Danieli's 56th minimill order. The new plant will be made up of: 1. 2.6Mt/y steelmaking and continuous casting plant for billets, blooms, and beam blanks; 2. 1.2Mt/y medium-section mill (mill No. 1) for production of up to 400mm beams and large-size profiles; 3. 1.2Mt/y superflexible mill (mill No 2) for production of round bars and wire rod coils (with provision for smaller size profiles at a later stage).
