文摘:An experimental investigation is conducted into the behavior of a circuit consisting of a micrometer-sized aluminum film sandwiched between two submicrometer Josephson junctions that experiences a direct current and an applied magnetic field. Sawtooth oscillations in voltage with increasing magnetic field are observed. The phenomenon is explained in terms of the Josephson junctions being influenced by changes in the local magnetic field caused by single vortices penetrating into the film.
