文摘：The subsequent application of coatings to cover deficits of a base material will be a thing of the past for many technology fields. Increasing demands for optimised components will no longer allow this "classic" approach. The development of innovative functional coatings (usually multilayer coating systems), will be a significant aspect of the multi material design process, to be established in an early step of the development. Optimised coating systems for specific applications - similar to "Taylored Blanks" as optimised sheets will only be realised with "Taybred Coatings" as specifically adapted coatings, not only for the base material aluminium.
